Scott's Life in Bangkwang Prison - Thailand

Supporting Scott

Days in Bangkwang can be very long and lonely, to receive letters or visits can make an enormous difference to Scott's day and morale.

To know that you have not been forgotten about gives the strength to continue each day.

Many people have kindly asked if they can send money to Scott to help him buy his daily requirements.

Money can not be sent directly to him at the prison.

Money can be sent to the Foreign Office by BACS, they transfer it to the British Embassy in Bangkok who in turn deposit it into Scott's prison account.  Unfortunately there is a Consular charge of £62 for each transaction.

A Trust Account has been opened in Scott's name for donations to be placed and then be transferred in lump sums in order to reduce the charges.  Money is also deposited into his prison account from this fund when family visit so that charges are not incurred.  A Treasurer has been appointed and two signatures are required to withdraw and transfer funds from this account.
